A season known for its associations with companionship is upon us, and many find themselves seeking company, whether familiar or unfamiliar, whether platonic, romantic, physical, or any other flavor. With the release of EtheReal in 2033, many Edeia began exploring new relationships and relationship structures with other Edeia, many even engaging in blind matches. Does your Edeia employ EtheReal's services, or might they seek companionship through other avenues? 

You have two options for participating in this prompt: participating in the matchmaking or picking Edeia on your own. 

Matchmaking

In order to participate in matchmaking, please add your Edeia to the Edeia Blind Matches Feb 2026 sheet. The submission window is open until 2/12/26, 11:59 PM ET. 

• Please select the boxes indicating your Edeia's preference for the kind of relationships they are interested in for this matchmaking process. Attempts will be made to match preferences. 

• Please note that relationships do not have to be romantic or any particular flavor listed; it is limited to three in the sheet just for simplicity. 

• Canonically, this will be considered as your Edeia signing up and participating in EtheReal's services. 

You can add as many Edeia as you like, but you can only be matched once. If you add your Edeia, you are giving permission for others to use these characters in their prompt entries. You can remove unmatched characters later if you like. 

For each entry you submit depicting both your Edeia and your the matched Edeia, you will also earn a prompt pass (art and writing only). 

Self-Selection

If you self-select Edeia, you can use multiple of your own or someone else's. You can pick from the Edeia Blind Matches Feb 2026 sheet, the Masterlist (for Edeia with "allowed" or "ask" draw permissions), or ask in the server for volunteers as well. You do not have to involve EtheReal's services, but it should be some kind of "blind date/match" scenario. 

Design Prompt

Design an outfit or form that your Edeia would wear during their "date" that is different from their typical appearance. This can be based on their main form, alt form, humanoid or humanlike form, or hybrid form that is listed on the ML. 

If you'd like, you can include a blurb describing the context and why they chose that appearance. 

Art Prompt 

Create artwork depicting your Edeia interacting with their blind match. This can be, for instance, the initial meeting, during their activities, or at the moment of going separate ways. 

Writing Prompt

Create writing depicting your Edeia interacting with their blind match. You can write about your Edeia before the meeting, during, and after, exploring their thoughts and interactions with their match.

There are all sorts of serendipitous connections one Edeia may have with another. Perhaps they simply crossed paths one day; perhaps they were born around the same time, or Actualized around the same time. Perhaps they are or were neighbors in a physical sense - before or after their Actualization. What would your Edeia make of such a connection? 

This prompt focuses on "neighbors" in many ways, whether in a story sense or a meta sense - i.e., neighbors on the Edeia Masterlist. In the prompts below, a "neighbor" can be another individual that is a physical neighbor (living nearby), temporal neighbor (born around the same time or Actualized around the same time), or a neighbor on the ML. 

You may submit one of each of the prompts below; the prompts otherwise follow the Standard Requirements. 

Art Prompt 1:
Draw an Edeia not belonging to you that is a "neighbor" to yours. Interactions are optional.

A particular type of relationship is often celebrated this month, but it is not the only meaningful connection we can have.

Art Prompt:
Draw artwork involving/illustrating a meaningful and overall positive relationship involving at least one of your Edeia. The other character does not need to be an Edeia, and does not need to be yours. Perhaps it is a gesture in their language of love (words of affirmation, acts of service, touch, quality time, gifts) or something else. You may use humanoid, alternate, and other temporary forms of your Edeia.

The minimum requirements are as follows, though you are welcome to do more:

• Options: for one character - fullbody or almost, allowing for artistic cropping; two characters - partial bodies (thighs/equivalent or more); three or more - halfbodies (chest/equivalent up). 

• Fully colored and shaded 

• Full color background with some sort of environment; does not need to be detailed or a full scene

Writing Prompt:
Write a scene involving/illustrating a meaningful and overall positive relationship involving at least one of your Edeia, before or after Actualization. The other character does not need to be an Edeia and does not need to be yours.
