Edeia Forms

As Edeia are shapeshifters, they can take all sorts of forms. Certain forms can be listed on the ML and considered "official," allowing them to be used for prompts and other official activities. The following forms can be listed in the Forms field (click the links for examples): 

• Previous form: the previous form of the Edeia, prior to Actualization. 

• Alternate form: a form that they find just as comfortable as their usual form. This can be as simple as an alt palette or a distinct design. 

• Hybrid form: a form that has the shape of their previous form with characteristics of their Edeia form. 

  • If the hybrid form is based on a different closed species, please ensure the design is first approved or otherwise allowed. 

• Humanoid form: a form that has the shape of a human with characteristics of their Edeia form. 

  • Typically, their skin, eye, and hair colors are based on their coloration as Edeia rather than normal human coloration, but this is not strict. 

  • For Edeia who used to be human, this is also their hybrid form, but Edeia who were non-humanoid can have both a humanoid form and hybrid form. 

• Humanlike form: a humanoid form that more closely resembles a normal or ideated human. Some Edeia do not have separate humanoid and humanlike forms, considering it the same thing. 

• Past form: what an Edeia looked like in the past, particularly if they had a different Idea and at some point had a shift an identity strong enough to change their essence of self. See the Past Forms section of the ToS for details about designing and submitting a past form. 

Having multiple of the same type and/or notably distinct variants of any of these forms is possible, but please check with Auspice first.
